Uh, love your blog and I love NPR and I love the 4th Estate but the opposition media in Venezuela was complicit in the 2002 coup. The rhetoric of the opposition media (clearly adjuncts of the upper class) is so similar to FOX News and AM talk radio here in the states that one would think Chavez is going to make a dire enemy of Rupert Murdoch. You can bet the National Endowment for Demorcracy is already getting their guns nice and greased (or at least texting them) if Hugo decides to close the media outlet.
